Wildhaus - Toggenburg
About Wildhaus - Toggenburg
General Information
At an altitude of 900-1000 metres, Wildhaus, Unterwasser and Alt St. Johann -- the classic Toggenburg vacation destinations -- are located in Obertoggenburg, high in the valley between Säntis and the Churfirsten mountain range. The mountain lifts are your gateway into the Churfirsten mountains. A visit to Chäserrugg at 2262 metres is a true highlight.
Toggenburg is situated in the middle of eastern Switzerland, one hour by car from both the Zurich airport and Lake Constance. Winter just the way you like it! Everything you could wish for right on your doorstep: kilometres of trails for carvers and snowboarders, a fun park with all the bells an whistles, snowshoe trails, winter hiking trails, cross-country ski trails and toboggan run. In fact, the only thing we don’t have is a giant jump for ski flying. Funny though, because Toggenburger Simon Ammann has a closet full of gold medals… Toggenburg in the summer: Nestled between the Churfirsten mountain range and Säntis; 1000 to 2500 metres above sea level. The perfect picture for a storybook holiday: hiking, biking, swimming, climbing, playing, singing… and shouting with joy. Or just sit quietly in the sun watching and listening. Relax and truly enjoy life – in Toggenburg. Sounds great!
