Zurzach is located in northern Switzerland very close to the German border in the Canton of Aargau.

The Thermal baths of Zurzach
A warm spring of water at 39.9°C/ 104°F flows and nourishes the Thermal pools for both the healthy and those seeking a cure. Water-gymnastics, springs and water-jets, spa, 4 large open-air pools for summer and winter bathing pleasure, river-bath, waterfall, Mineral-spring, massages, Kneipp-therapy, solarium and Jacuzzi pools under the open sky make this bath a relaxing and healthy experience and it is therefore the center of attraction in Zurzach.
The castle was built in the end of the 19th century (1840 - 1904) by Jakob Zurberbuehler. It is ideally located on the bank of the river, surrounded by the beautiful castle park with monuments and sculptures. Inside the castle visitors find a watch collection, paintings and drawings by August Deusser, and of course the historical and pompous style of a turn of the century castle.
This church of the 9th century combines Romantic, Gothic and Baroque style in a harmonic way. Thanks to the striking positions of its choir, crypt and steeple the Muenster has become a cultural heritage of national importance. Inside the church the sarcophagus of holy Verena and the church treasure are shown.
