Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of application
You are making a reservation on a website that uses the online reservation-system of Swiss Quality Hotels. The present General Terms and Conditions apply to reservations that you make yourself via the online reservations-systems (QualityOnline) of Swiss Quality Hotels.
2. Reservations System
The current online reservation-system has real-time access to effective data and the actual availability of the individual hotels, it places effective reservations directly with the individual hotels. Therefore reservations are made, the present online reservation-system may only be used for effectively required bookings, which are subsequently also taken up, and not for fake or test bookings or fictitious reservations.
3. Making reservations
Each reservation will be forwarded to the hotel in question on your behalf by Swiss Quality Hotels, Switzerland.
4. Best Price Guarantee
Swiss Quality Hotels International assures you that the best available rate for your stay is offered. Therefore we extend our “Best Price Guarantee” to all our customers. This guarantee is intended to ensure that at the time of reservation, no other online booking-platform offers a lower rate for an identical arrangement and under the same conditions.
5. Accommodation contract
The accommodation contract is formed directly between you and the hotel you have selected, as the reservation is being made. Swiss Quality Hotels, Switzerland is not a party to this accommodation contract.
You pay the rate of the room confirmed by Swiss Quality Hotels International online reservation-system directly at the hotel. The hotel may request the advance payment of all or part of the overnight stay. In this case, you will receive a corresponding letter/invoice from the hotel.
7. Credit card
A valid credit card is required for making hotel reservation via the online reservation-system of Swiss Quality Hotels, Switzerland. Your credit card is used only as a guarantee for your reservation and will not be charged by Swiss Quality Hotels, Switzerland at the time the reservation is made. If the specified credit card looses the validity between the time the reservation is made and the arrival date, then the hotel concerned shall be entitled to cancel the reservation at any time without consulting you. You shall not have any entitlement to accommodation in this case.
8. Reservation status
Your reservation has ‘guaranteed’ status, i.e. you are entitled to accommodation as per your reservation, irrespective of your arrival time on the reserved date of arrival.
In order to avoid any misunderstandings, all cancellations must be made via the online reservation-system of Swiss Quality Hotels, Switzerland.Your reservation confirmation will specify a cancellation deadline; up until this deadline, cancellations can be made free-of-charge. If the reservation is cancelled after this date, then the individual cancellation terms of the individual hotel shall apply. In case of a no show, then the hotel concerned may charge a cancellation fee to your credit card. The individual cancellation terms of the individual hotel shall apply.
10. Hotel categories and hotel information
The customary international hotel classification system with stars as well as the SQH segmentation gives a non-binding indication of the standard of the hotel, as assessed by the hotel itself. All the additional information and descriptions pertaining to the hotel are also based on information from the hotel itself. Swiss Quality Hotels, Switzerland does not give any guarantee regarding the correctness or completeness of the hotel categories and information specified.
11. Room prices
All prices are specified per room and per night and include all service charges and the value added tax.
