Three houses – one experience: Welcome to the new Caspar. In our stylish hotel in the immediate vicinity of the famous Muri Monastery, we are literally building on 400 years of hospitality! The two historic inns Ochsen and Adler together with the new Haus Wolf form an extraordinary hotel ensemble with 50 rooms, two restaurants, seminar rooms and the architecturally unique Caspar Wolf Hall. “Caspar” means: urban hotel culture in a rural idyll, not far from Zurich, Zug, Lucerne and Aarau.

Even after their complete renovation, the traditional Adler and Ochsen restaurants will remain two restaurants with a distinctly individual character. They get completely different concepts which do justice to their history and environment. In the modern Gasthof Adler with its unique winter garden, head chef Sebastian Rabe will spoil you with uncomplicated but surprising Murian cuisine. Local farmers supply the ingredients. Even if it presents itself fresh and modern: The “Adler” is a real village pub: everyone is welcome here – from kids to business people to clubs and the «Jassrunde ». Even dogs can join complete the round.

A completely new experience awaits the guests in the avant-garde “Ochsen”. Here we celebrate the oldest cooking technology in the world: fire. The different uses of fire, smoke, charcoal and different types of wood such as oak, alder, birch, walnut or juniper ensure the uniqueness of this “natural cuisine” with its exclusive, small selection of refined a la carte dishes and the multi-course surprise menu. In the Ochsen wine cellar, top wines from Switzerland and Europe are slumbering, waiting to be discovered.

The new Caspar Wolf Hall is a real gem. It connects the new hotel building (the former Caspar Wolf House) with the completely renovated “Ochsen” and offers space for up to 130 people. It is suitable for all kinds of events, especially for family occasions such as weddings, but also for club meetings, seminars and company events. Thanks to its excellent acoustics, the Caspar Wolf Hall is also the perfect location for cultural events. The two seminar rooms in the “Ochsen” are suitable for smaller celebrations, events or seminars.
